The land moans and the earth shudders.
It has began.
Spews of ashes descends slowly, lightly, unnoticed, till it engulfs the
entire terrain. It blankets the scene, turning a once familiar area into
something alien. An irrevocable transformation of perception has
occurred. The impending volcanic eruption of change that is to come
signals the end of what we've come to know. The scorching lava will
mercilessly burn any remnant of what we've so arduously built these
past two and half years.
It has began.
Gazing ahead, the present becomes a blur, giving way to the future.
The process of detaching ourselves is on the way. We are
already preparing for the flight. This once fertile land is now
inhabitable. We'll flee; to survive.
Clutching our precious memories, experiences and a few memorabilia,
we'll head forward; to a new safe haven- to a new beginning.
The change has began, we are waiting for the climax.
Just before I start on my main topic. Some updates...
Much akin to EOS 1 and EOS 3, the stress diarrhoea is back. This
is probably the longest spree yet. EOS 1 was only 1 week prior to
exam and EOS 3 was for 2 measly weeks. EOS 5 is coming up in
7 weeks. Don't know how I can tahan that long. Although, the silver
lining means that I can eat much more and not gain weight right?
Beauty of diarrhoea.
Another thing, mom received the bouquet of flowers and was
overjoyed. The 99 red roses idea failed miserably due to lack of
funding. With one stem costing RM5 each, that would have set me
back RM500- woot! So reverted to plan B: something elegant and
sweet. One dozen red roses. Just a little bit of knowledge for you
ignorant people out there *wink wink*. 12 red roses represents
eternal love. The number 12 is considered a perfect "round"
number. Look at 12 hours of the day, and 12 months of the
calendar. Cool huh? Different colours meant different things
as well. Still haven't gotten her something though... :-D
It's that time again. The cosmos turning point, that earth shattering
decision of 'shall I cut my hair?' Well, maybe it's not that earth
shattering after all. It would be such a shame though; if everyone
discovered that the end is fast approaching just because I made the
wrong decision hairstyle wise.Oh well. I'm sure I can live with
it. :-D
Anywho, been living with the same short hairstyle for the past 20
years. Think it's time to keep it long and see what happens.
Besides, you can never do all these cool (subject to individuality)
hairstyles. By the by, not trying to emulate Narcissus, just thought
this cam-whoring session might be fun.
Tada, the 12 hairstyles you can try when you're bored...

No.7 -The Electrocuted Look

No.8- The Wolverine Look: Yup, I used spoons for props.

No.9 - The Spiral: Damn, you can't see the right side curves. Haiz!!

No. 11 - The Apek: Hmmm. So tempted to use this look for Uni.

I've grown accustomed to my repetitive routine.
I yearn for something.
I've been nestling this rather peculiar instinct of mine for weeks, and
now, it's hardly containable. It's extremely hard to describe, but it's
just... just this feeling of wanting something extraordinary,
something more. I've been actively on the lookout for something
that will accommodate my friends and I, but it's hard.
I love my friends to bits, but looking for something that will cater to
everyone means that there's compromises to be made. It'll be a
collective thing, discussions would be made, plans preformed,
schedules have to be checked, and dates cleared. Wouldn't it be
just lovely to do what you want? No compromises, no questions, no
doubts. When I get the chance, I'll just pack and leave. It's time to
fly solo.

Arriving at this new found realization, the world seems much smaller.
There's nowhere I can't go or do (without boarding a plane). Thought
of just jumping onto one of those bunk train and go anywhere-the
destination's irrelevant. When I get there, I'll know what to do. I've
also been wanting to just drive to some secluded beach and sleep
underneath the heavenly stars. I can go hiking, and camp beside
a lake somewhere.

The possibilities are endless. With my car and a somewhat modest
budget, I can go anywhere and see anything. I'm sick and tired of
being bogged down with the mundane, I want to escape. The
mundane will still be here waiting when I get back; patiently waiting
to envelope me once more.
As long as my camera and iPod is with me, I'll be more than content.
I know the CNS exam is coming up, and EOS soon after, but why
should this be a hindrance? I can spare a day. After 21 years, I've
learned this much; sitting idly for a change to come is pointless, we
chase what we want and we take what we want.
